I've been writing songs for about 20 years. My songs have been very important to me through my life and it seems they are the most real when I share them with others. I guess my dream is to make my songs so real they take on their own lives.
Interests
Music. Songs. Anything creative. I love animation. I have an affinity for voice actors. I love when people succeed at what they are doing simply because they just keep doing it.

Songs are recorded and Songs have birthdays
It's been a month since my last update, sometimes life catches up with you and there's not much you can do but go with it. In the last month I've been in the studio and we've completed all the vocal tracking for the five songs and now we're just adding some harmonies and layered guitars.
Songs have been chosen
I've reconnected with an old friend Aaron Young who is acting as a producer and musician to help me on my way. We've chosen the songs we're going to record and we've met a couple times to work out the arrangements.
I'm pretty excited, we should be in the studio in the next couple of weeks to start the actual recording process and so far just the practice track we recorded on my iPhone sounds better than most of the voice and guitar demos I've done :)

I've been writing songs for about 20 years and it had always been a thought "Wouldn't it be cool if one day someone covered one of my songs? To hear a song I wrote on the radio?" But that was about it, I just kept writing and keeping my songs to myself. I hosted an open stage for while and did a spot on "The Big Breakfast" the local morning show, at the time, here in Calgary.
