Tom's Guitars the Fender FR50 Resonator

Here is a cool looking guitar with a very unique voice. Chetan asked which guitar is my favorite. I don't know that I have a favorite, but I do tend to play my Ibanez Roadstar most often. I do love guitars and take every opportunity to play any guitar that finds its way to me.

Toms Guitars the Gibson Les Paul

I am very lucky to have friends with beautiful guitars they leave with me to play with. This is a fine example of a Gibson Les Paul standard. I have never owned a Les Paul but have played quite a few over the years, the big difference in this one is the weight. Ten pounds is killer. While I play with distortion on this video this guitar sounds fantastic played clean too.

These guitars are not very loud but they do have a unique voice which can sound cool when mixed with a full body acoustic.

It was a pleasure to have this guitar in my quiver for a week. The Ibanez AF75 is top notch in every way.

On this guitar as well as adding a phase reversal switch I replaced the original nut which had a 1-9/16th spacing, with a new nut with 1-11/16th spacing.

A couple of features I didn't mention are the inlayed block marker on the first fret, which is a decorative addition. Also the bridge the strings go over at the back of the guitar is different than you find on most Gibson guitars.
