When the idea is too good not to pursue...

I'm so glad that this site is still moving forward. With everything from music and writing to environmental issues and business ideas, there's so much going on.

Which is the same on my side of the internet. There is so much going on right now; most of which I cannot share publicly at this point. My recording project is still on hold but I am slowly writing new material when time permits. We've performed many times recently, including both Kelowna and Kamloops on Canada day however what's got me all tied up has nothing to do with music.

I'm also a business owner and science enthusiast. A couple months ago I was working on a somewhat music related project and was frustrated with how it was progressing. I started thinking "There must be an easier way to do this" and bam, I had one of those "Eureka" moments. The next couple of days were spent online searching for information and coming to the realization that I might actually be on to something.

Moving forward to today, I've invested quite a bit of time into researching the concept, met with a number of very informed and talented people from government representatives to scientist to successful business people and have had great responses. Tonight I have another important meeting and in the next few weeks I hope to work out what steps I have to take to secure some funds to see if this is something that can be developed and turned into a viable business venture. Whether it turns out to be something I can pursue or not, I look forward to the time when I can share my idea here on The Dog and Pony Show...
