Songs are recorded and Songs have birthdays

It's been a month since my last update, sometimes life catches up with you and there's not much you can do but go with it. In the last month I've been in the studio and we've completed all the vocal tracking for the five songs and now we're just adding some harmonies and layered guitars.

One of the songs we did was Born To The World. It's a song about feeling a little jealous when listening to someone tell you about their travels around the world but realizing we all have our place "I was born to this town like you were born to the world". I was looking through the lyrics for this song this past Sunday and the date on the lyric sheet was June 20, 1997. Thirteen years have blown past in a heartbeat. I'm glad I've started working towards a goal otherwise I might have found it a little depressing that my little gem of a song was growing up with such a neglectful father.

When the final mix of the song is complete I'll be sure to share it with you all.

i hope you will complete the song soon and share it with all....keep chasing your dreams....A tree grows very bigger but its strength always lies in its root...we travel all around but we always belong to our place, thanks for the video.

Great job, what a beautiful, evocative song. Sums up the feelings many of us have where we are so connected to home and our roots and yet also sometimes tempted by wanderlust.
Keep going towards your dream you have much to offer.
