I love what you said about our relationship to the natural world and thinking about the first people that have traveled this land and the mystic qualities that that brought to your writing. As well, I can certainly identify with the sense of loss that you felt when your project came to completion - it's kind of like our kids leaving home. Thanks for your encouraging comments Cathy and Verna. Talking off the cuff...never know what I'll say. Correction...southern part of Winnipeg River watershed begins in Minnesota but not in North Dakota. Should also have mentioned the northern part of this watershed extends from the English River system.
