Editing

Last Saturday our collaborative group met and we spent four hours going over each others stories. I feel so happy that a small part of my work is with a group of talented, committed, supportive writers, as writing can be such a solitary endeavour. I can now envision this project as a completed work.
Besides this project I have been editing the two new stories I am preparing for a submission call. I want to send them out by Tuesday. One of these stories has turned out to be quite funny which pleases me even if it isn't selected for publication.
Also still examining trees and dreaming away with my poetry project, have 56 poems now.

Sounds like you've really got a creative fervor going!
With respect to the group project, do all of the writers have a similar approach, are you all the same age, gender etc.?
You must be happy to be so on track right now!

Thanks Cathy...It's more like...why can't I start and finish one project at a time? Always have a desk full of 'in process' projects. But yes, I am happy with this method.
As for the group...six different approaches. We are all women ranging in age from twenty five to sixty something.
